Quick Ride hits 2 Million registered car-poolers in India, with Pune alone having 2 lakh+ users

Pune is the third fastest growing market for Quick Ride with 2 lakh+ users Pune, July 1, 2019: Quick Ride, India’s leading car and bike-pooling application, today announced the successful registration of 2 million+ users on its platform across Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, and Kolkata. The Bengaluru based start-up entered the market in 2015 and today, it has emerged as the largest carpooling network in India with 2 million+ registered users of which 2 lakh+ users are from Pune. Today, Pune is the third largest market after Bengaluru and Chennai and has witnessed a growth of 25% month-on-month over the last one and a half years. Quick Ride has completed 1 million+ carpools and prevented 3100 tons of carbon emission, since kicking off the service in January 2018 in Pune. With over 30,000 daily active users, Quick Ride is doing around 7000 carpools daily, thereby preventing around 7000 vehicles from road every day. This initiative alone is preventing around 21 tons of carbon emission every day. Out of the total users in Pune, 57% of Quick Riders are women, thus ensuring convenience and safety while commuting. Additionally, the brand has executed “Go-GREEN “ Carpooling awareness campaign in 50+ companies including WIPRO, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Mphasis, HCL, etc., in the areas like Hinjewadi, Magarpatta City, Talwade, etc. In a very short span, Pune has become the 3rd largest user-base across all India and in Maharashtra, it is the largest market with 4 times the user-base compared to Mumbai. This achievement underscores Quick Ride’s commitment to reduce transit time, traffic congestion, and carbon footprint.
