PUNJAB WILL BEGIN NEW ERA IN INDUSTRIAL SECTOR: SUNDER SHAM ARORA

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 27, 2018: The Industries and Commerce Minister Mr.Sundar Sham Arora said that Punjab will begin the new era of Industrial revolution in this congenial atmosphere, which is created by the Punjab Government.

In meeting with the state’s Industrial stalwarts, He said that the New industrial Policy will enforced in letter and spirit. He hailed the decision to give electricity at a cost of Rs 5 to Industry and said that Industrial sector will get more subsidies on priority basis. The allotment of Vacant plots in industrial areas would soon be on fast track. To know the problems of Industrialists, He will also visit the industrial units on regular basis so the problems will be resolved at ground level. He also assured that the tax refund will be expedited.

Mr.Arora also assured that Government would consider the demands for cost of steel for MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) on lower rates, road access to industries, freight subsidy to all exporters of the state, Exhibition center in Ludhiana, common byelaws for plot allotment, involving small farmers in development of micro Agro processing Units and Special Knitwear University.

On this occasion Sanjiv Vashist, MIA, GS Bhatia, CII, Parveen Kumar Goel, Mrs Bector’s food Specialities, Vinod K Thappar, Knitwear Club, Charanjiv Singh, Shawl Club, Anil Kumar Garg, Rajdhani Casting, Pankaj Sharma, CICU and JS Chauhan, Sonalika International Tractors were also present.
