Chandigarh, November 12, 2014: The Punjab government has transferred village Tehalpura of Sub-Division/Tehsil and district Fatehgarh Sahib to Tehsil & Sub-Division Rajpura of district Patiala and a notification in this regard has been issued.
According to an official spokesman, this decision has been taken in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887(Act 17 of 1887) and Section 5 of the Registration Act, 1908(Act 16 of 1908).
