Will soon file revision petition against the Today’s verdict
Chandigarh, March 17, 2015: Punjab JattMahasabha will soon file a revision petition in the Supreme Court of India against the Today’s verdict in which the court has quashed the reservation for the Jatts community. In a statement issued here today Punjab Jatt Mahasabha president, Kushaldeep Dhillon, said that they will explore more legal options to defend their case again in the Apex court. He lambasted on the NDA government for deliberately weakening their case in the court. The true facts were not presented and case was fought with malafide intentions. He further said that the Jatt Mahasabha will fight tooth and nail for their rights.
Dhillon said that Punjab Jattmahasabha is organising state level protests on March 18 against the land acquisition bill in the parliament, now we will also take this matter onto the streets and among the Jatt community and make them aware. He also attacked the SAD BJP government in Punjab not to deliberately implement the reservation of Jatts while it had passed it before the Parliament elections last year.
