Punjab instructs departments not to delay regular postings of employees

Chandigarh, March 11, 2015: Punjab Government has asked all departments not to hold the regular postings of employees more than a month so that there should be no loss in official work.

The state government in an official communiqué directed that in some cases concerned departments takes too much time to post their employee or officer after attendance and then approaches the Finance Department to count that time as compulsory waiting period. It has been suggested that in any case if regular posting of any officer/employee takes time than he/she should be posted temporarily immediately on vacant post.
