Puja Sharma placed with highest package of Rs.10 lacs per annum CTC

Ludhiana, March 12, 2015:  PCTE Group of Institutes has made an impressive start of its Campus Placements for the academic session 2013-15 management batches with yet another student, Puja Sharma, MBA placed with the highest package of Rs.10 lacs per annum CTC as Management Trainee at Abbott Laboratories. Earlier two students of the same batch got selected with the same package of Rs. 10 lacs at Goldman Sachs as Financial Analyst.

Puja Sharma was more than happy and said “To have a job in hand after working so hard is a sigh of relief for me and now I am ready to explore the opportunity in corporate world”. Abbott selected the candidates on basis of Group Discussion followed by Case Analysis and a rigorous Interview round. The first phase of campus placements drive of current year saw around 110 students of MBA, MBA-IB & PGDM programs participating, at which 89 companies have interviewed PCTE students.

“I am humbled by the confidence that top companies have reposed in us by choosing our students,” said Dr. V.P Mishra, Director, PCTE.  “Our graduates are equipped with diverse skills, and their transformational years at PCTE has helped them to boost their capabilities and move along their chosen career paths”, he further added.

In view of competitive corporate world, PCTE has been paying special attention to placements for students and workshops have been conducted to help them with the recruitment process. It may be mentioned that last year for 2012-14 academic session, PCTE had 116 companies participating in the placement drive and this season, 110 companies have already recruited PCTE students and many more are yet to participate in the drive coming days.

Major brands recruiting students at PCTE this season are LT Foods with package of 6lacs p.a, Kapsons with package of Rs.8.4 lacs p.a.  ,Forbes & Logistics with 6 lacs p.a., Jaro Eduacation with 5.46 lacs p.a., Mercedes, Jabong.com, ICICI Bank, Snapdeal, Axis Bank, Coke, Reliance Retails, Diesel, Berger Paints, Next Education and many more.
