PUDA Engineer Association approves constitution

Chandigarh, July 9, 2014: The PUDA Engineer Association today approved its constitution in the general house meeting under the chairmanship of President Mandeep Singh Lachowal, in which engineers from all over Punjab take part at Chandigarh.
President of association Mandeep Singh said that tenure of the Governing body has been fixed for three years as recommended by the 5 member committee under Anuj Sehgal. The Governing body may be dissolved by the general body with consensus but in the case of amendment in the constitution 2/3 majority to be.
Lachowal has also said that association is working on to address the issues related to technical cadre of the department. It was also cleared that if any member of the association were found in any anti social activity the association would not come forward to help him in any manner.   
He said that aims of the association has also been approved which mainly included to raise the issues for welfare of the technical wing before the government and authorities besides Strengthening the engineering wing in all aspects. He also said that the association would also to work to promote the cooperation among engineers of PUDA as well as engineers of other departments. To make the engineers aware of recent practices and technologies, association would organize the technical and social camps & seminars.
Prominent amongst present in the general house included Vice President Anuj Sehgal, General Secretary Gurjeet Singh, Secretary Mukesh Kumar, Chief Spokesman Suraj Manchanda, Finance Secretary Lalan Kumar, Members of  Executive Pankaj Mahmi, Varun Garh, Yugvir Kumar.
