PU VC felicitates NSS volunteers and contingent leader for participating in NSS R-Day Parade 2019

Chandigarh, March 10, 2019: Prof.Raj Kumar, Panjab University, Vice Chancellor felicitated NSS volunteers and the contingent leader for participating in NSS Republic Day Parade 2019 at New Delhi. This year one girl volunteer from MCM DAV college Ms.Nikita Bharti student of BSc medical final year and boy volunteer from Panjab University Shyam Lal student of Dept. of Evening Studies represented Chandigarh in Republic Day parade. Both the volunteers briefed about their journey of selection and their experience during one month camp. PU VC appreciated the efforts of volunteers and contingent leader Dr. Manoj Kumar Bhambu, Head of Dept. of Commerce, Govt.College of Commerce Business and Administration, Sector-50,Chandigarh. Dr. Manoj Kumar shared with PU VC that it is because of leadership of Dr. Navdeep Sharma, NSS Coordinator, PU, Bikram Singh Rana, State NSS officer and Mrs. Madhu Bala, Regional Director, Chandigarh. The contingent from Punjab, Himachal and Chandigarh performed exceedingly well in the republic day parade 2019.
