Chandigarh, January 3, 2015: Now, Panjab University (PU) students can submit fees at the Sector 14, PU Post Office as PU and the Department of Posts, Punjab Circle Chandigarh has entered into an agreement for collection of fees. The facility has become available to the students with immediate effect. More than 30,000 students would be benefited with this agreement.
PU Spokesman on Friday informed that the decision has been taken to facilitate the students to deposit their fees. Earlier the University students could submit the fees at the Fee Counter of State Bank of India Branch only. With this agreement, an additional new fee counter has been setup in the Post Office in this regard, he added.
The Post Office would receive all kinds of fees such as University Tuition fees, Migration fees, Re-evaluation fees, Miscellaneous Fees etc. tendered by the candidates by using proper pay-in-slips, which would be available at the counter. The services would be available on all working days including Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 1.30 PM to 3 PM, he further added.
