Ludhiana, August 16, 2016: Punjab Tax Practitioners Association (PTPA) & District Tax Consultants Association (DTCA) held a joint meeting with Mr.Parneet Sachdev, Principal Director of Investigation (I.Tax) & Mr.Rohit Mehra, Joint Director of Investigation (I.Tax) in which so many issues for betterment & smooth working of said wing were discussed.
Ashok Kumar Juneja, President & B.R. Kaushal, Secretary General (PTPA) demanded from both the highups to allot a “Bar Room” in DI`s Office because the Bars & bench are the two arms & eyes of the legal systems. At the same time the working of said wing is fastly going up due to increase in filing of more Tax Evasion petitions & much Bar members have started appearing in DI wing. Both highups promised to allot the Bar Room within 2-3 months. Mr. Sachdev said that all such types of petitions first reach directly on his table and then he himself see & take special interest to enter & feed these in the most confidential & exceptional programming developed & devised by him & then also transfer datas in his laptop for quick supervision, timely action & final results thereof. On this all Bars office bearers praised his pains taking efforts & quickness.
Tarlok Bhalla, President & Rishi Khanna, General Secretary DTCA said that DI Wing`s working is most transparent and previously children of KVM & other schools participated in “groom the tax payers” programme.
Rupinder Kansal, Secretary PTPA`s & varinder Kumar Arora, Advocate (Moga) said that notices for marriage & other functions & relating to Land`s transaction enquiry & others be specific for which Pr. DI assured that he is always Vigilant about same. They appreciated Mr. Sachdeva for receiving ISO-9001:2008 Certificate for best functioning in Income Tax Investigation, Enforcement of Direct Tax Laws & related tax payers issues.
All present in the meeting said that such type of honest & sincere officers are always required everywhere in nation.
