Ludhiana: A special vaccination drive against the foot and mouth disease has been initiated by the department of animal husbandry.
Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Mr.GS Toor said that for Ludhiana district, around 6, 45000 supply of vaccine has been received here.
He said that vaccination would also be done at the doorsteps and this drive would be completed within four weeks.
The vaccination is being offered at free of cost in all the veterinary hospital and dispensaries, he told and added that various teams have been formed by the department for the successful completion of the drive.
He said that anyone can contact the following the members of teams on their mobile numbers.
