Ludhiana, July 12, 2016: Diet Exhibition has been organised by Fortis Hospital Ludhiana from July 12 to 15. Taking the lead towards observing this week with the vision of creating awareness among the masses especially under the leadership of Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Staff presented an invocation song and an educative skit related to the theme. Surprise gift were also given to the lucky winners.
Programme was held under the supervision of Dr. Ankush Mehta, Medical Superintendent, Ms. Sumita & Ms. Aakriti Sangar Fortis Hospital Ludhiana .
Giving information regarding the event Mr. Vivan Singh Gill, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana said that we are organising this exhibition to spread awareness among the masses regarding the impact of following a healthy diet plan can have on our daily lives. of primary prevention and treatment in order to control the endemic of Heart Diseases, Arthritics, Diabetes and Hepatitis. He said we are He emphasized on the importance thankful to F& B (Food and beverages department) for their support towards the exhibition.
Ms. Sumita, Senior Dietician, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana also spoke on various aspects of chronic and dangerous metabolic diseases. She also gave some tips to keep fit and energetic:

Ø Swap sugary desserts for delicious seasonal fruits.
Ø Lay out a healthy balance diet
Ø Get grilling
Ø Don’t forget the grilled veggies.
Ø Cool down with fruit smoothies.
