Dharamsala, March 27, 2016: The voting has started on a peaceful note at 7 am on Sunday for the newly created Municipal Corporation Dharamsala. The polling which started on a slow rate picked up with the passage of time.
Electorates are voting for for 113 candidates in 17 municipal wards. The corporation has 31,538 electorates.
The polling shall end at 3pm and the counting will start immediately.
Most of the results shall be declared within 2 hours as the polling is being conducted on EVM machines.
Both the major political parties Congress and BJP have fielded their candidates in the fray.
