Pension Accounts To Be Linked With Aadhaar Card & Mobile Number

Ludhiana, July 25, 2016: Mrs Inderpreet Kaur, District Social Security Officer, Ludhiana, has informed that the pension accounts of pensioners related to Department of Social Security, Women and Child Development Punjab are being linked with the Aadhaar Card and Mobile Numbers (Contact numbers). She said that this is being done so that the pensioners do not face any problem regarding their pension and their proper record is maintained. She informed that in this regard, the work related to the pensioners of rural areas have already been completed while the cases related to a large number of pensioners in urban areas are yet to update their Aadhaar card numbers and mobile numbers. She has appealed to all pensioners of Urban areas to get their Aadhaar card numbers and mobile numbers updated with the office of District Social Security Officer, Ludhiana by 5 pm on July 27, 2016.
