Municipal Corporation Ludhiana to get graffiti done at Verka Underpass and GT Road Underpasses

Ludhiana, September 16, 2016: After getting graffiti done at the Lodhi Club underpass now the Municipal Corporation Ludhiana is all set to cover all other underpasses as well. The department has recently floated tenders for awarding new sites for graffiti. Also at some of the locations the graffiti work is almost complete now.
The MCL had recently floated tenders worth Rs 5 lakh for graffiti and tenders have been awarded. Through these tenders work would begin at the Verka underpass. Followed by this, the MCL will float tenders for underpasses of GT Road like Basti Jodhewal, Bahadurke under pass, Shivpuri, Tajpur Road so that these sites can also be covered with graffiti.
In the last one week the artists have completed graffiti at Samrala Chowk,
Lodhi Club underpass, Pakhowal Canal, Dholewal and one site near bus stand. MCL Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori told that graffiti work is going at full pace in the city at various locations and after seeing response they have planned graffiti at underpasses. He said at Lodhi Club underpass too graffiti has been done and now it would begin at Verka Underpass. He claimed that more sites will be taken up later on.
