PCTE Group of Institutes at Ludhiana on Wednesday organising Arm Wrestling Competition.
Ludhiana, August 26, 2015: PCTE Group of Institutes organised Arm Wrestling Competition. The competition has received a highly enthusiastic response. About 100 students from various disciplines participated in the Competition in multiple categories. The contest had a lot of spectators.
In Arm Wrestling competition for boys, Lovepreet Singh from B. Pharma 4th Year was declared as the overall champion of the event whereas Iqbal from B.Com stood first in 55-65 Kg Weight Catagory followed by Biwam Arora from BBA-1D grabbing 1st position in 65-75 kg weight category. Jaiveer from BBA – 1C stood 1st in 75-85 Kg weight category. Lovepreet Singh acheived the 1st position in 85 kg and above category. In arm wrestling competition for girls Ms. Milan from B.Pharma 4th year was declared as overall champion of the event.
Mr. Rajveer Singh event organizer said that the zeal of participants left me startled. Various factors play a part in one's success in arm wrestling. Apart from the technique and overall arm strength as the two greatest contributing factors for winning the match, one needs to have a hold over his mind saying not to give up.
Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes on the occasion said, “Body fitness is a rigorous discipline. It demands dedicated commitment and constant hard work on regular basis to win at a platform like this. We are elated to have some of the arm wrestlers from the city at PCTE.”
