Ludhiana, August 28, 2015: The Department of Food Science and Technology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) conducted a one- day training programme on “Guava Processing” in the pilot plant of “Food Industry Centre.” Participants from Ludhiana and Bathinda attended the programme. Dr Poonam A. Sachdev and Ms Jagbir Kaur imparted training on guava pulp processing, nectar, squash, ready to serve beverage and guava jam. Dr Poonam told the trainees about the quality parameters, nutritive value and health benefits of guava and its products.
