PAU AGRONOMIST CONFERRED APPRECIATION AWARD IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AT HYDERABAD

Ludhiana, November 2, 2017: Dr Pardeep Kumar, DES(Agronomy) cum DES(SM) FASC, Kapurthala has been conferred appreciation award for worthy keynote presentation of his research paper on “ Ferti fortification for enhancement in productivity and minerals in bread wheat through fertilization strategies” in the international conference on agriculture.

The international conference was held at P.J State Telangana Agriculture University, Hyderabad from 23-25 October 2017. About 300 delegates from different parts of the globe participated in this event and deliberated on various issues related to agriculture. Notably among them were Dr Benny Dembitzer, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (1985) United Kingdom, Prof. Ilan Chet, Wolf Prize Laureate (1998) Israel, Mannava Sivakumar, Senior consultant World Bank, Switzerland, Devi Prasad Juvvadi, Director, Centre for Good Governance India, Felix Sugantham, Director, World Aquaculture Society India, Suhas P Wani, ICRISAT Development Centre, India etc.
Dr Pardeep Kumar also got the honour of co-chairing the subsequent technical sessions along with renowned Botanist Dr Justin of Christian college, Kerela. Dr Pardeep Kumar is earlier recipient of International Scholar Award 2012 from IPNI, USA and Achiever Award 2016 from National Level Society for human and nature and second - best oral presentation award in National Conference at Y S Parmar University, Solan.
