Jalandhar, March 12, 2016: Pardeep Singh, a player student of Lyallpur Khalsa College who won a gold medal in 105 Kg.category in Weight lifting in recently held South Asian Games was honoured today by the college. In a brief function held in the college campus the president of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur gave a cash prize of Rs. 31000 to Pardeep. Speaking on the occasion, the college principal Dr GS Samra informed that Pardeep was going to participate in Senior Asian Championship being held in Uzbekistan from 7 to 13 March.
The occasion was witnessed by the presence of Dr Jaspal Singh the Head, and the other teachers of the sports department of the college.
