Panjab University Book Fair to start from November 16

Chandigarh, November 15, 2016: The AC Joshi Library, Panjab University (PU) would hold Book Fair from November 16
to 20, 2016 in the ground in front of the PU Library.
The Book Fair would be open from 11 AM to 7 PM daily. It is the 2nd Book Fair being organized in the University. The Book Fair is open for all the students and book lovers.
More than 30 reputed national and international Publishers and Distributors like Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Sage, NBT, Karger, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla, Rampur Raza Library, UP, MBD, S. Chand etc.are participating in the event. The reputed national and international Publishers would display their latest stock. It is hoped that it shall be an annual event in the PU.
All the five days of Book Fair would be studded with literary, socio-cultural programs involving luminaries drawn from diverse fields. Author interactive session by Chandigarh Sahitya Academy and talks by PGI doctors on organ donation, healthy way
of living, drug de addiction etc. would be the highlight events during the Book Fair.
Blood donation would also be a part of the Book Fair. Faculty, students & research scholars of PU Departments, colleges & institutes in Chandigarh and PU affiliated colleges are expected to visit the PU Book Fair.
