Jalandhar, October 18, 2014: Students contributing to winning of the overall trophy of the youth festival held at GNDU Amritsar were honoured today in Lyallpur Khalsa College.
In a brief yet impressive function held in the college campus Dr. GS Samra Principal, Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint Secretary and Balbir Kaur President College Governing Council honoured, apart from students, teachers in charge of various teams, director cultural affairs Dr. Arun Mishra, Darminder Kathak and Krantipal Singh.
Speaking on the occasion Balbir Kaur said Lyallpur Khalsa College was committed to upholding of spiritual and cultural values of Punjab so that the youth might not be led astray towards evils like drugs. She informed the present that special infrastructure will be provided for organisation of such cultural activities. the occasion was witnessed by the presence of senior teachers and students of the college.
