Officers told to maintain punctuality and availability in headquarter

Chandigarh, July 23, 2014: The Punjab Government today issued strict instructions to all officers and employees to maintain punctuality to ensure availability to the public during office hours and officers have been asked to schedule their availability at Headquarter on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

In detailed circular issued to all heads of Departments, Commissioners of Divisions, Deputy Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrates and Chairmen of Boards and Corporations, it has been reiterated that Head of Departments would ensure the presence of all employees and officers at 9 am on all working days. It has been stressed that all officers would remain present at Headquarter on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Those officers who have to go to the field as part of their official work would schedule their tour on Thursday or Friday.  All officers have been asked that they would remain present in their offices except when they have been called for a meeting by Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister or concerned Ministers. The officers having office in Secretariat and outside Secretariat also would remain present in their secretariat offices on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. // punjab news, india news,
