OBC opens its Rahon Road branch at new premises in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, September 1, 2014: Oriental Bank of Commerce opened its Rahon Road branch at new premises on Monday. The branch was inaugurated by Rajat Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana. At this occasion P Sreedhar, Deputy General Manager and  Regional Head, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Ludhiana was also present. Agarwal congratulated Jaswant Singh, Branch Manager and all staff members and said to provide special services to villagers, needy and small saving customers.
Sreedhar addressed the esteemed customers of the branch and thanked them fortheir patronage and continued support. He said that Rahon Road branch was opened on 14th March 1997 and since then the branch has grown manifold. With the increase in number of customers, there was need to open the branch at new premises with state of art technology. The branch is equipped with Cash Deposit Kiosk, Passbook Kiosk and ATM.
He also added that Bank has wide range of schemes for all the segments of the society and thrust is being given to SME, Retail particularly Housing Loan and Education Loan and Agriculture sector. Bank is committed towards social and economic upliftment of all sections of society. Speaking about “Pradhanmantri Jan-dhan Yojna”, he said that Ludhiana Region of Oriental Bank of Commerce opened 17500 accounts till date.
In the end he thanked the valued customers for their whole hearted support and faith in the bank.
