In the village Daroga in sub-division Jalalabad, the Bima Yojna card has been issued in the name of old lady since died three years back which speaks as to how serious is the card issuing authority.

Jagir Singh resident of village Daroga informed that he is a labourer and earns his livelihood by doing the labour work and about two months back, he had applied for the card under the said scheme in the camp organised at village Hissan Wala.  The card issuing authority started the card preparing proceedings after getting the required documents relating to BPL family but when he was surprised to see the card with his photo but with the name of his mother Maya Bai wife of Fouja Singh whereas his mother has died about 3 years back.  Now he will be facing a lot of problem to get the card rectified to get the benefits under Bima Yojna.

It is pertinent to mention that under the  National Health Insurance Plan, a card by charging only Rs.30 is issued to the members of the family of BPL category and at the recognised hospital, the medial treatment upto Rs.30,000 is provided free of cost.
