NSS Unit of Apeejay College of Fine Arts plant saplings

Jalandhar, July 26, 2016: NSS Unit of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar in collaboration with a Hindi daily planted various trees to enrich the environment.
On this occasion, near about 500 saplings of Ashoka, Neem, Amultus etc. were planted. Member of NSS Unit whole heartedly participated in this event and pledged to preserve nature.
Principal Dr. Sucharita addressed the enthusiast participants that trees play a vital role in humans’ life as they give us precious natural Oxygen Gas, Wood etc. without any favour in return. She said by worshipping nature, we worship the almighty. To make a beautiful future, we should plant more and more trees. She also highly appreciated the efforts of the daily. She also said Apeejay always contributes in making the world a better place to live.
The team of daily newspaper were also present on this occasion. Along with them Dr. Apra, Dean, NSS Unit was also appreciated for her hard efforts to conduct this event.
