Innocent Hearts School splutters - Eco- Friendly Diwali

Jalandhar, October 27, 2016: Innocent Hearts School celebrated the festival of lights – Diwali at Green Model Town, Loharan and Cantt Jandiala Road. The children promised that they will celebrate Eco- friendly Diwali. An enactment was presented in special assembly where students were dressed up as Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshman to explain importance of Diwali. A buzz of activities was around the school. The kids of classes I and II participated in Card Making competition. The students of class III participated in Poetry Recitation Competition. The students of classes IV to VI cooked delicious sweets in “Spreading Love through Sweets” activity and students of classes VII and VIII showed their skills in “Non- Fire Cooking Competition”. The students of classes IX and X made beautiful rangolis in, “Rangoli Making Competition”. The students were told the importance of festivals and they were told to celebrate the festival with gaiety and glee. The Director Principal of the School – Mr. Dheeraj Banati conveyed a message to celebrate Clean and Green Diwali.
