Dharamshala, November 29, 2015: Himachal Vidhan Sabha in Tapovan Dharamshala shall serve as the first National training centre for E Assemblies in India. stating this in Dharamshala on Sunday the Speaker of the Himachal Assembly Brij Bihari Lal Butail said, “The proposal is on to set up E Vidhan Sabha training centre here, which shall provide the training to all the MLAs and the other staff of the different assemblies of the country. One delegation under the leadership of secretary parliamentary affairs ministry recently visited the area and raised a proposal to start E Vidhan Sabha training centre at Dharamshala.”
Butail said that Himachal Pradesh is being praised to be the first paperless electronic assembly in the country, where already the groups from many state assemblies are coming to get on the spot information of its working. He informed that the state assembly is now trying to provide earphone facilities to officers and press benches in the assembly.
The winter season of the Himachal Pradesh assembly is being started from 30th November to 4th December 2015 at Dharamshala. There shall be 200 stared and, 81 unstared questioned fixed for this 10th season of the current Vidhan Sabha.
