National Seminar on Wireless and Mobile Communications Network

Jalandhar, April 11, 2015: UGC Sponsored One Day National Seminar on Wireless and Mobile Communications Network was organised by P.G. Department of Computer Science & I.T.Dr. Sistla Rama Devi Pani, Editor, University News and Head of Research Division, New Delhi, Guest of Honour  was Nirmal Pandhi (Principal, S.D. Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar). Dr. Kanwaljit Singh Chowdhary, Director, University Computer Centre, Punjabi University was Keynote Speaker. Chairperson for seminar was Dr. R.M. Sharma, Principal, Shaheed Ram Singh  Pathania Memorial GNDU College, District Pathankot. Vinod Dada Ji, Jt. Sec, Gov body of the college extended floral welcome to the Chief Guest. CM Markanda extended floral welcome to the Guest of Honour. Dr. Kiran Arora greeted Chairpersons and Resource Persons with flower and florally welcome all the guests. Jaspreet Kaur, Assistant Prof. P.G. Dept of Computer Science read out the introductory note about the seminar. Dr. Kanwaljit Singh in his address told about the use of technology with wisdom and the day to day advancement in the field of technology. Pandhi gave lecture on use abuses if wireless technology. In presidential address Chief Guest told about the recent wireless technologies and made aware of various universities. Dr. R.M. Sharma gave his views about legal issues in concern with wireless and Dr. Maninder Singh talked about the security on smart phones and various apps. On this Occasion journal 'Gizmotics' was released by Dept. of Comp Sci. The stage was conducted by Prof.Geeta Kahol.
