National School of Drama Graduates conduct workshop at CT University
Ludhiana, September 4, 2018: National School of Drama (NSD) Graduates conducted a workshop based on drama and music at CT University. A team of five graduates from NSD gave the students a skill session based on dance and music. Students from School of Performing Arts attended the workshop that focused on Basics of Theatre and building character in Theatre. Mahadev Singh Lakhawat, Production Representative said that the youth must not be discriminated on the basis of disseminating knowledge. All are equal and the education must reach at every end. With theatre, the message to be delivered is that education must reach people by not judging them over their caste, creed, colour, gender or status. Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, said, “The youth is to be focused. There are so many negative means which are moving them from their focused goals and I believe theatre can bring in element of dedication in students when they step into the shoes of others and act their life. This workshop would bring the students close to simpler and easy life.”
