Ludhiana, August 14, 2015: A monthly training camp of Seed Producers and Nursery Growers’ Association (SAPNA) was held at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) under the guidance of the Director of Extension Education, Dr R.S.Sidhu.
During the camp, Dr P.S. Aulakh, Additional Director of Extension Education, interacted with the seed producers. The experts explained about the onion seed production and its cultivation; seed production of chickpea; lentil and its cultivation; seed production policy of NSC, PUNSEED and PAU; and National Seed Corporation and their market share.
Earlier, Dr T.S. Riar, Programme Coordinator, welcomed the resource persons and the members of SAPNA. He also presented the review of SAPNA activities.
Later on, Mr PPS Pangli, President of SAPNA, proposed the vote of thanks.
