Amritsar, August 20, 2014: An international Water Sports athlete of the Guru Nanak Dev University, Mohit represented India in U23 Canoe Sprint World Championship 2014 and qualified for semifinals held at Szeged, Hungary recently.
H.S.Randhawa, Deputy Director Sports & Head said that Mohit participated in K-1 200 meter event and covered the distance in 00.39 seconds which is the best ever timing of an Indian athlete. He hoped that in the near future, Mohit would certainly bring medals for the country in this event.
