MLA acts tough, seizes five tractor-trolleys loaded with illegal sand

Ferozepur, March 6, 2018: Acting tough on sand mining Congress MLA Parminder Singh Pinki today seized five tractor-trolleys of illegal sand from Ferozepur-Mallanwala road. As per information available, Pinki also called the DSP (City) Manmohan Singh and other police officials on the spot and ordered them to register the case.

Pinki said that he will make all the possible efforts to curb illegal mining taking place in this border region. “I will also write to the CM and apprise him about the illegal mining taking place in this region. If I will found anyone involved in illegal mining, I will not spare them irrespective of their position. No poke lane machine or JCB machines will be allowed to use during mining”, said Pinki.

Pinki said that the mining will be done only as per the instruction of the state government and no one will be allowed to dig out more than 10 feet. He said that all the record related to mining pits is available with him. “I warn everyone to obey the instruction of state government in connection with sand mining”, said Pinki.
