Ludhiana, May 17, 2016: Three senior scientists on behalf of the Borlaug Higher Education for Agricultural Research and Development (BHEARD), Michigan State University, paid a visit to the campus for exploring avenues to fund the doctorate level studies of Bangladeshi students at Punjab Agricultural University.

Dr Anne Schneller, Co Director, BHEARD, while applauding the excellent infrastructure and student facilities in PAU, said they were looking for a new programme of work for 12 to 15 students from Bangladesh and instead of sending them to Africa for the same; they wanted to explore the Indian State Agriculture Universities with a mission to providing quality education and strengthening linkages.
