Bangalore, August 1, 2016: In a higher educational atmosphere, academics do not become the only mandate for the student to receive his certificate. It becomes important to cater to the overall development of the student as well. For this reason, IFIM, a leading private business school in Bangalore, was the first to realise the need and importance to apply sports as a mandatory tool in the Personality Enhancement Program (PEP), and credit it to the course. This, then, became a crucial aspect for the students in order to complete their course.

According to a release, apart from IFIM, other business schools such as IIM-B have also realised the need and importance, and have implemented the same as a part of the curriculum as well.

The uniqueness of this course comes through the introduction of fitness education, under the Lifestyle Active Programme, which involves concept-based fitness and wellness education. The focus of this concept lies on the student’s knowledge and the understanding of physical activity, fitness and wellness. Thus, it helps to prepare and motivate students to engage in physical activities, not only during their academic life, but throughout their life; it also provides an opportunity for students to develop healthy habits and understand its importance throughout life.

The Programme instills in the students the importance of Health Management and thus, beat pressure and stress through physical activities.
