Manas Hospital completes one week long free check-up and consultation camp for psychiatric patients

Ludhiana, November 1, 2018: Manas Hospital a newly opened, an advanced centre for mind, brain care and de-addiction, which is located at Gobind Nagar, Saggu Chowk, Ludhiana, successfully completed one week (11 -17th November) free check-up and consultation camp for psychiatric patients. Dr.Rajeev Gupta senior psychiatrist and managing director of the hospital, Dr.Anshul Mahajan & Dr.Akshit Mahajan consultant psychiatrists evaluated more than 150 patients during this camp. Dr.Gupta told that this camp was a part of promotional offer in which along with consultation, free counselling services and laboratory tests on concession rates were also available provided to patients. He announced that Manas Hospital will run charitable OPD services for poor patients on each Sunday on regular basis.
Dr.Anshul Mahajan, Consultant Psychiatrist told that consultancy on various psychiatric issues like migraine, epilepsy, depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia and sexual disorders was given to patients. He also shared this information that Manas Hospital has in-patient services, de-addiction centre, advanced counselling and psychological testing centre and a centre for children and adolescent clinic, where patients can seek quality services from qualified and expert team.
Dr.Akshit Mahajan provided psycho-education and counselling to patients and their caregivers. While addressing the group session, he highlighted the role of stress and faulty life style for majority of our psychological issues. He gave some useful tips for stress management like regular exercise, healthy diet, proper sleep, yoga, meditation, reduced use of mobile phone and internet, keeping healthy interpersonal and social relationship and absenteeism from drugs and alcohol use. Dr.Atima Gupta, consultant pathologist congratulated the team of Manas Hospital for this successful event.
