Ludhiana News/ State-level delegate conference of Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal on Nov 17

Ludhiana, November 15, 2013: A state-level delegate conference of Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal is being held at 10 am at Model Gram Charitable Trust Community Centre, Kochar Market Chowk, Ludhiana on November 17.

In a joint statement here on Friday, the Mandal’s state general secretary Sunil Mehra, state secretary Mohinder Aggarwal and district president Kasturi Lal Mittal, added conference will be presided over by the Mandal’s state president Amrit Lal Jain.

The agenda for the conference includes e-TRIP, advance VAT tax, VAT refunds, single stage VAT regime, hike in proceeding fee, enhance VAT assessed cases fir scrutiny from 3 to 6 years, uncalled for raids, detention of goods, forcible collection of VAT and levy of property tax, advance consumption power charges (ACD) by PSPCL, they said.

They added the issued to be discussed also includes closure of industrial units due to the state government policies and flight of capital and crippling economy of Punjab. Besides, the gathering will held discussions over the fact that the state industrial policy has not been announced so far.
