Punjab State SC Commission Would Get Matter Related To SC Certificate Of Youth Congress Leader Rajiv Raja Probed
Ludhiana, July 25, 2016: Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission member Mr Gyan Chand has stated that the commission would get the matter related to alleged fake SC certificate prepared by Youth Congress leader Rajiv Raja probed. He said that if this certificate is found to be fake or has been prepared using fabricated documents, then the commission would recommend strict legal action against all those who are involved in the matter.
Mr Gyan Chand said this while listening to grievances of SC community members at District Welfare Office, here today. Today, members of Dr Ambedkar Youth Sena, Baba Sahib Dalit Force and Dalit Helpline met Mr Gyan Chand and demanded strict action against Youth Congress leader Rajiv Raja s/o Gurcharan Singh. The members demanded that the alleged fake SC certificate should be cancelled and strict action should be taken against all those who were involved in the preparation of this certificate.
After receiving the formal complaint in this regard, Mr Gyan Chand assured that the commission would get the entire issue probed and if this certificate is found to be fake or has been prepared using fabricated documents, then the Punjab State SC Commission would recommend strict legal action against all those involved in it.
Today, Mr Gyan Chand listened to around dozen complaints/grievances and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mr Raj Kumar Happy, Mr Vijay Sehjal, Mr Manoj Chauhan, Mr Rohit Sonkar, Mr Sajan Atwal, Mr Prashant Moongrali, besides several others.
