Ludhiana’s First Industrial Vertical Garden inaugurated at FICO Tractor Division Head’s Factory
Ludhiana, September 21, 2018: Rohit Mehra, Additional Commissioner, Income Tax, Ludhiana, alongwith Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO and S.S.Bhogal inaugurated the Ludhiana’s First Industrial Vertical Garden, in M/s Farmpart Company (A Unit of Uniparts Group) premises which is owned by Jaswinder Singh Bhogal of FICO’s Tractor Division. A vertical garden is a technique used to grow plants on a vertically suspended panel by using hydroponics, the structures is attached to a wall. These vertical gardens will not only beautify the factory premises, but at the same time, these will help enhancing the oxygen levels in the industry, hence providing a better environment to the laborers, here at Farmparts Company the dripping system has been used to water the plants, i.e. water will be given to the top most plant, it will drip down till the last plant in the sequence. Kular congratulated Bhogal for such a green initiate, and also pledged to the install the vertical gardens in atleast 5 industrial units by the end of 2018.
