LS Bye-Poll: Training programmes for poll staff held at Ganderbal

Srinagar, March 29, 2017: In Connection with Parliamentary by-election for Srinagar Parliamentary seat, the District Election Officer, Ganderbal organized training programmes at Boys Higher Secondary School Ganderbal and Boys Higher Secondary School Kangan.
During the training programmes 1700 employees were imparted necessary election related training including operation of electronic voting machines. The trainers were also acquainted with various aspects of election process to ensure smooth, free and fair conduct of polling scheduled to be held on April 9, 2017.
