Chennai, October 12, 2016: BEACON 2016, an annual flagship conference of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) will be held on 14th October 2016 at The Residency Towers, T Nagar. With the theme, “Leadership and Ethics for the Emerging Future” the conference in association with National HRD Network (Chennai Chapter), will focus on addressing the key aspects of ethical best practices in HR which will help in shaping the future leaders.

The daylong conference will be inaugurated by Padma Bhushan Dr. Mrityunjay Arthreya, Ph. D (Harvard) and will be spread across two broad sessions focusing onLeadership in conjunction with Ethics and good Governanceamong key stakeholders and students. The session will have eminent HR leaders from across industries as panelists to discuss about the ethical standards of businesses which help develop value based leaders for the future.

Since its inception in 2007, BEACON (Business Ethics Conference) of LIBA has played a vital role in deliberating on various relevant issues including inclusive growth and sustainability in all spheres of management. This year’s theme will largely focus on the impact of standard ethical practices in shaping employee attitude and behavior.

The Guest of Honour Mr. K Pandiarajan, Hon’ble Minister for School Education, Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu will preside over the Valedictory Function.
