Ludhiana, March 10, 2013: Launching ceremony of CICU-YBL Forum, one of the most unique an exclusive of its kind was performed by L D Mittal, Chairman, Sonalika Group of Companies fondly known as “Tractor Titan” was held on Saturday late evening in the presence of prominent Industrialists and galaxy of future leaders.

Mittal congratulated and appreciated the efforts and gesture of CICU in building up a critical mask of young high profile professionals and entrepreneurs that will eventually bring about concrete business growth as well as work towards effecting the necessary changes.  Empowering Yong Business Leaders (YBL) for sustainable growth is the need of the hour as they are future engines of growth.  He advised youngsters to play to their strength, work sincerely and with passion, be nimble, create self confidence, never compromise on quality, improve technology, go for innovations, build up a strong brand, provide unique customer service and seek blessings from all corners internally and externally connected with your own existence, your profession and services. “You will see the silver-lining of opportunities which will enable to grow and expand your business manifolds”, he said.

Mittal shared business insights with young professionals and explained how he built from scratch to over Rs. 5,000 crores multinational organisation.  His groups’ phenomenal success over the years has been due to his mantra of growth through quality and innovation.   He shared his valuable experiences which enabled the group to develop products for consumers that offer great value for money.  He also stressed on customer satisfaction model adopted by Sonalika Group.

S. B. Singh, Publicity Secretary, gave introduction about the CICU activities and also presented about forthcoming CICU activities and CICU young business leader form activities.

Avtar Singh, General Secretary, CICU said in order to groom young entrepreneurs to contribute for the growth and development of MSME, more than 90 young professionals have joined this Forum.  In the present economic scenario, Young Leaders are to be encouraged for raising talents and skills which could lead them towards door of success in this competitive market.  This Forum will enable young entrepreneurs to interact and deliver superiors values and where to put in the efforts to provide maximum gains for their organisations, as they are well qualified, experienced and energetic. 

Upkar Singh, Joint Secretary, CICU gave wonderful presentation on “Growth Strategies” for SMEs.  He visualised that young entrepreneurs are readying them to be Movers and Shakers to make a positive impact on modern industrialisation.  Forum seeks to provide its members with an opportunity to meet, exchange thoughts and converse with key industrial personalities.  “We are looking to develop and realise concrete projects, activities and joint ventures amongst the Forum’s members as well as beyond”, he said, adding there was strong need to cultivate the younger generation’s participation in decision making.

Eminent Industrialists Mahesh Munjal, S C Rehlan, Darshan Dabur, Inderjit Nagpal, J S Sokhi also spoke on this occasion and shared their tips with young entrepreneurs how to become successful in business and life, both.

The entire House comprising of more than 200 delegates felicitated L D Mittal by honoring with memento for achieving the rare distinction by having been included in Forbes List of 100 Richest Indians – 2012.  They congratulated him and appreciated his support, role and contribution to SMEs Sector.  He was applauded for his superb achievements and contribution to Industrial development. 

It was a packed programme.  Young entrepreneurs engaged in trade and industrial activities representing exporters, importers and manufacturers interacted and covered an overview trade and industrial business opportunities for mutual benefits.
