Jalandhar, August 4, 2015: Last date of admission for different study programs at Lovely Professional University is 10th August, 2015. This last date is for admissions in all programs except for the programs in education & physical education students. Thousands of students from all states of India & 30 countries including China, South Africa, Malaysia and more have already taken admission in program of their choice. Though LPU scholarship program is over, the post-matric scholarship is available for SC/OBC candidates, as per present central & state government policies. It is also to be noted that last date of admission for education and physical education programs is 25th August without scholarship; whereas, with scholarship it is also 10th August 2015.
LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal informed: “We are pleased to note that students are very keen to receive quality higher education in the program of their choice. Students from not only all the nook and corner of India but also from tens of other countries including China, Columbia, South Africa, Malaysia, Thailand and more have got admission this year at LPU. I have personally assessed that students prefer institutions which secure their future. LPU has set new record with the highest placements in North India. This year, more than 610 students were selected by a top company in a single day.” Mr Mittal further shared: “As part of corporate social responsibility, LPU has provided scholarship of Rs one lakh per year to thousands of meritorious students so that financial constraints may not stop them in getting quality education.”
Last session has been illustrious once again for LPU as many prestigious magazines and newspapers ranked LPU as one of the top institutions on different parameters. Such ranking continues encouraging university for implementing more of the novel methods for the betterment of education as per the needs of global society.
