KMVites excel at NDTV and Zee Business

Jalandhar, July 22, 2015: The students of department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, brought laurels to the institution by successfully pursuing internships at NDTV, New Delhi and Zee Business, New Delhi. Shivani Attari, a student of BA (JMC) IV Semester had undergone her Internship from a very renowned English News Channel, NDTV at New Delhi. She also contributed articles for their official website which got published as well. She learned the techniques of handling Video Camera and Video Editing during her internship.

Another student Divya Babbar of BA (JMC)-II Semester got an opportunity to pursue her internship at Zee Business, New Delhi. During her internship she worked for a number of weekend shows including property plus, mobiles and gadgets and Brandstand etc. She learned the various aspects of scriptwriting, interview techniques and editing as well. The principal of the college Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of the students and faculty of the department for the success. She motivated the students to become aspiring media personalities in times to come and favoured that such internships provide a very good exposure to the budding journalists.
