KMV Organizes Poster Making Competition

More than 50 Students Showcased Creative Skills
Jalandhar, November 27, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Jalandhar regularly organizes various activities for the overall development of the students. Keeping with the trend, Department of Biotechnology organized a Poster Making Competition in their DNA Technology lab. More than 50 students participated in this competition. The topic for the event was Advances in Biotechnology. Students demonstrated their creative skills during the competition and presented various outstanding and knowledgeable posters.
Addressing the students the Principal of the college Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi highlighted the significant use of Bio-Technology in present scenario. She averred that these type of activities are a regular routine in our college and it is the tradition of KMV to organize such activities from time to time in the college for the prosperous growth of the students. She also motivated the students for their creativity and knowledge about the subject.
Principal congratulated Ms Sadhna Tandon, Dean, Life Sciences and Head of the Department of Zoology and other staff members for the successful organization of the event.
