KMV organises Seminar for Avenues Abroad

Jalandhar, December 12, 2014: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar’s Department of Student Welfare organised a seminar for making the students aware about various avenues abroad.  

Suhasini from AIESEC was the speaker for the occasion.  She posted all the students with very useful information.  She also threw light on the role played by her organisation in facilitating a person’s stay abroad.  She dispelled various doubts regarding security and stay issues abroad.  The students were also made aware the expenses to be incurred.  About 50 students attended this seminar.  All the queries were satisfactorily answered by the speaker.  She was thanked by Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Students’ Welfare.  It is worth a mention here that two faculty members from Botswana and Tunisia are providing their services to KMV.  They have also been a part of the AIESEC exchange programme. 

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma maintained that KMV organises student and faculty exchange programme from time to time.  We aim at providing global education to our wards.  KMV-Chatham University exchange programme is also successfully contributing to this cause.  Such seminar help student get acquainted with various avenues abroad and are therefore quite useful.
