Jayani to inaugurate Arogya Mela on March 12 at Punjab University

Chandigarh, March 11, 2015:  Health and Family Welfare Minister Punjab Mr. Surjit Kumar Jayani would inaugurate the prestigious Arogya Mela organized jointly by the All India Ayurvedic Congress and AYUSH Government of India at Punjab University on March 12.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the government said that the Arogya mela would be the beginning of a four day 58th Plenary Session and Arogya Expo of All India Ayurvedic Congress (March 12-15)  being inaugurated by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee on March 14. About 3000 delegates from all over the country would participate in the Mela and in various scientific sessions of the conference.

As many as 100 stalls have been placed where various renowned national and international herbal houses would display their latest products. Renowned Vaidyas of India would be available for free consultation and treatment. Specialised OPDs have also been set up to facilitate people where renowned vaidyas from all over India would be available for free consultation and treatment.
