Swimmers of Ivy World School, Jalandhar performed exceedingly well in the CBSE Swimming Sahodaya Competition 2018 by winning 20 medals in the competition held in Cambridge International School, Phagwara.
The medal winning students were:-
• Under 19 Boys:- Master Vansh Salaria, Jai Sharma, Neel Tomar, Ishan Sharma won Silver and Bronze medals
• Under 11 Boys:- Master Yuvraj Sharma won Gold Medal and
• Under 14 Girls: - Miss Jyotsana Chaudhary won Silver Medal (50m back strokes)
• Under 14 Girls: - Miss Jyotsana Chaudhary, Chandanpreet, Chitranshi and Annika Mukherjee won Bronze medal in free style relay (4X100m).
Twenty four leading schools of the region participated in the competition and Ivy World School bagged the maximum medals. The Principal Mrs. S. Chauhan added her good wishes and blessings for further success.
Shri Sanjeev K Vasal, Chairman of Vasal Educational group congratulated the students and said that such competitions help to boost the self-confidence and overall development of the students. He further said that perseverance is the key to success and the students should work harder to achieve better results.
