Ivyian Gymnasts Gather Gold

Jalandhar, December 6, 2016: Gymnasts from Ivy World School, Jalandhar, put up a wonderful show as they gathered medals in the Interschool Gymnastics Championship held at A.N Gujral Senior Secondary school, Nakodar Road. The gymnasts participated in three groups with different age categories and collected loads of medals in each group. In the Under 8 individual category, Tatsat Chadha and Aditya yewale won gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals. In the Under 10 category, team event, the school bagged second position with seven silver medals amongst seventeen participating teams. In the Under 14 category, the school bagged third position with seven bronze medals. Overall, the gymnasts brought back a haul of two gold medals, nine silver medals and nine bronze medals, bringing glory to the school. Chairman Ivy world school, Mr.Sanjeev kumar vasal, appreciated the confidence and patience along with their time spent in practicing for the event.
