Ivy World School and My Peegu host a communication workshop

Jalandhar, August 4, 2018: Ivy World School Jalandhar under the aegis of Vasal Education Society in association with My Peegu organized a workshop for parents on Saturday to enlighten them about the impact of social media on a child’s mind, focusing mainly on cyber safety, internet usage and qualitative technology usage.
The workshop was conducted by Mr.Chetan Jaiswal, CEO My Peegu, who communicated with the parentsabout the importance, hazards and benefits of the correct usage of the internet. As we all are aware that technology can be defined as applications, instruments, or processes that enhance or simplify the aspects of everyday life it still creates ripple. While the introduction of the internet has led to many benefits, unfortunately, it also comes with its own set of problems. Most significantly, these problems can negatively impact the security and privacy of our children, as they are the ones who are most affected unknowingly. So, he addressed some of the advantages and disadvantages of the internet, and what one could do to keep one’s security and privacy intact coupled with guiding the children to be aware and careful.
Mrs.S.Chauhan, Principal Ivy World School expressed her gratitude to the parents for sparing their valuable time to attend the workshop and assured them that such workshops will be conducted frequently for the benefit of the students as we share a common interest ie the safety and well being of our children.
