Jalandhar, May 13, 2015: The investiture ceremony-the sacred tradition to bestow leadership roles to students-was held in the campus of DIPS-Suranussi on Tuesday. The holy pledge-to do their duties with full dedication, honesty and perseverance was taken by the selected office bearers.
Vishal Sharma from XII-Sci was selected as the head boy and Sophia from XII-Com was selected as the head girl. Krishan Gopal(XII-Sci.) and Damandeep Kaur(XII.Com.) were selected as vice-head boy and vice-head girl respectively.
Shonima(XII-Com.) was selected as sports captain (girls) and Chetan(XII-Com.) as sports captain boys. The principal, Bela Kapoor decorated the students with the badges, symbolic of their recognition and ability to perform.
The principal congratulated all the office bearers and inspired them to do best of their abilities to make all of us feel proud of them.
